Welcome to the HEEPS Portfolio Energy Analysis Tool. This tool has been provided by Energy Saving Trust to enable detailed analysis of Home Analytics data for inclusion in national energy efficiency programmes such as HEEPS:ABS or SEEPS.

The system allows authorised users to import data from one or more housing stock sheets previously exported from the Home Analytics systems. These properties are converted to a format that allows them to be modelled using a detailed property energy modelling and improvements engine that is used to recommend effective energy saving upgrades to the property.

Scenario analysis

Once imported, the housing stock data can be analysed by generating "What-if" style scenarios, allowing users to see the impact that installing various energy saving measures will have on each property and to the housing stock as a whole.

The tool will also calculate the likely ECO funding that may be available to each installed and collate this data at property and stock level.

Once produced, users can review the data, make edits and when ready can download a detailed excel spreadsheet report containing the results of the analysis.

The technology

At the core of the tool is the Dynamic Engine (DE) property modelling and calculation engine. The DE is a powerful calculation engine that allows properties to be analysed and energy saving measures recommended, producing estimated before and after conditions, along with the potential savings that can be made by installing the recommended measures.
